Multi-site rollout project management
FortisCo manages rollout programmes where the same store, restaurant or branch format is delivered across many sites — one programme, one reporting standard and one accountable lead across every location.
Multi-site rollout project management, explained.
A rollout is not fifteen separate projects. It is one programme with fifteen instances, and the value comes from doing the same thing the same way every time — the same survey template, the same contractor briefing, the same snag standard, the same handover pack.
FortisCo builds that repeatable delivery model and then runs it: a live site pipeline showing where every location sits, a standard per-site programme with fixed milestones, procurement planned against the whole programme rather than site by site, and a single consolidated report to the executive instead of fifteen inconsistent updates.
Programme-level lessons are fed back deliberately. If site four exposes a detail that fails on installation, it is corrected in the standard before site five, so the same defect is not paid for another eleven times.
What the appointment covers.
Rollout appointments start with a pilot site used to prove the programme, the specification and the contractor model before the balance of the pipeline is released.

Companies and projects we take on.
Retail and franchise networks
Brands opening or refreshing a run of stores to a defined format, where consistency and trading dates matter more than bespoke design at each site.
Restaurant groups
Operators delivering a repeated restaurant format across regions with fixed equipment packages and tight opening schedules.
Branch and service networks
Organisations refreshing branches, service points or showrooms across a portfolio while each location keeps operating.
How FortisCo runs it.
Standardise
Define the per-site programme, specification, survey template, snag standard and handover pack.
Pilot
Deliver the first site end to end, capture what did not work and fix the standard before releasing the pipeline.
Run
Sequence sites against contractor capacity and procurement lead times, and coordinate every location against the same milestones.
Report
One consolidated programme report: pipeline status, cost position, risks and the sites needing an executive decision.
Where we work.
Rollout programmes are managed across South Africa and, where the network extends beyond the border, into Namibia and Botswana.
Sites are grouped into regional clusters so surveys, contractor mobilisation and site visits are planned efficiently rather than one trip per location.
Frequently asked.
- How many sites make it a rollout?
- Practically, anything from about five sites benefits from a standard programme and consolidated reporting. Below that it is usually managed as individual projects.
- Do you appoint the contractors?
- Appointments are made by the client. FortisCo coordinates the tender or panel process, evaluates against the brief and manages the appointed parties through delivery.
- Can FortisCo take over a rollout already in progress?
- Yes. We start with a status review of every site in the pipeline, rebuild the programme and reporting baseline, and then run it forward from there.
- How is reporting handled?
- One consolidated report on a fixed cycle covering pipeline status, milestones, cost position, risks and the decisions required from the client.
